Orcsoberfest Is Coming: Hide Your Liver, Tibians!
The orcs are preparing the beer. King Chuck is preparing his stomach. And you are preparing to make some terrible decisions.

There are many things a responsible adventurer should be doing in October.
Hunting.
Leveling.
Making profit.
Perhaps finally finishing that quest you started in 2014.
Instead, Tibians across the world will once again abandon all common sense and travel south of Thais for the annual celebration of food, beer, gambling, questionable minigames and an alarming amount of orc-related nonsense.
Yes, Orcsoberfest is coming back.
The festival begins after server save on October 9 and continues until October 16. A teleport for Premium players will once again appear south of Thais, ready to transport adventurers to the only island where getting absolutely hammered is considered productive gameplay.

Every festival needs a mascot.
Easter has Bunny.
Christmas has Santa.
Orcsoberfest has King Chuck, an orger whose appetite makes the average knight’s post-hunt meal look like a light snack.
Players can attempt to satisfy his enormous appetite in exchange for festive points and some rewards.
That raises an important question:
How many Tibians does it take to feed one orger?
Apparently, the answer is:
All of them.
The Great Schnitzel & Friends
Yes, you read that correctly.
The Great Schnitzel is involved.
You collect Schnitzel Meat Grinders, earn Schnitzel Points and eventually get access to the Feeding Grounds.
And if that doesn’t sound ridiculous enough, one of the activities involves feeding a pig until it becomes fat enough to kill.

There is also the classic vomit-cleaning activity, because apparently even an orc festival needs someone to do the janitorial work.
And yes — that someone is you.
Hero of Tibia? No.
Master of Vomit Removal? Absolutely.
Fashionably intoxicated
There is also the Orcsoberfest Garb, because apparently after drinking enough beer and cleaning enough vomit, you deserve to be rewarded with festive clothing.
The outfit and addons are tied to participation across editions of the event, so collectors should probably start preparing now.
Or, alternatively, start complaining that they missed the previous edition.
Both are traditional Tibian activities.
And when the hangover ends…
Just when you think the festival is over and you can finally return to serious business, Tibia reminds you why you came here in the first place:
XP.
The weekend following Orcsoberfest traditionally brings a 50% experience boost for creatures belonging to the Demon bestiary class.

So the official Orcsoberfest survival strategy is apparently:
Drink → gamble → feed King Chuck → ride a barrel → recover → kill demons.
Honestly?
Sounds like a perfectly reasonable weekend.
Otsaf’tis, Tibians!
